Kalmar Construction is proud to be working with Ehattesaht First Nation on the construction of a new duplex in Zeballos, BC. This project continues our work with Indigenous communities across northern Vancouver Island, delivering quality housing in remote locations where careful planning, coordination and local collaboration are key to a successful build.

The two-storey duplex will provide two new homes, each with approximately 810 square feet on the main floor, along with upper-floor living space of approximately 833 square feet in Unit A and 869 square feet in Unit B. The homes feature generous kitchen and living areas, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and modern residential finishes designed to provide comfortable, functional long-term housing for the community.

We appreciate the opportunity to work with Ehattesaht First Nation and to contribute to the continued growth of housing within the community. Kalmar Construction looks forward to working closely with the Nation, project partners and local stakeholders throughout construction to deliver a project everyone involved can be proud of.
