Kalmar Construction has been awarded the forming contract for the concrete plugs to be installed in the diversion tunnels for the Site C dam. The plugs, measuring 10m tall and 17.8m long, will be formed and poured in 3 lifts. This project will require our crews to work 24 hours a day to complete the project within the clients time frame.
