Apprentices

Kalmar Construction Ltd is a locally owned and operated company that has been in business for over 30 years. We offer competitive wages and full benefit package. We are looking for applicants who have good work ethics, work well alone or with a team and would like long term employment with plenty of opportunity to advance within the Company.

All applicants must have valid WHMIS, First Aid and H2S Tickets. Journeymen and Red Seal Carpenters must have a valid Drivers License.

In town applicants will be considered first. If applying from out of town, resume must include if you are looking for camp work or relocating, otherwise it will not be considered. Kalmar Construction will not pay for travel, and LOA is only paid when position is out of the Fort St. John area.

Qualifications

• Ability to take directions well from skilled tradesperson
• Operate various tools relevant to the Carpentry Apprenticeship program
• Eager to learn and advance in apprenticeship
• Work well with others and in a team environment
